Final PTO Meeting of SY 23-24 + PTO Election Results

Thank you to all the parents and staff that came out to vote and to the PTO community meeting on the morning of Friday, June 7, 2024. It was thrilling to see so many excited to participate in choosing next year's PTO leadership. And thank you to our candidates, Theodora Konetsovska, Lisa Yuen Rhoads, and AmyBeth Smith for putting their names forward and being willing to take on the responsibility of leading the PTO.

In the end, 176 votes were cast in total - wow!!!! The results of our tally were that: Theodora Konetsovska and Lisa Yuen Rhoads will serve as our SY24-25 Hayes PTO Co-Presidents – congratulations and thank you!

PSB Superintendent Dr. Guillory joined us for the meeting and we had discussions around class sizes, distributions of boys and girls across sections, and meeting the needs of all learners. We also heard from the Hayes Student Council who shared that they raised enough money to purchase new soccer goals for our playground and are working with Town to get them purchased and installed by the fall.

We appreciate all the excitement, and encourage everyone to continue that enthusiasm by signing up to volunteer with the PTO for next school year.
