Brookline Thrives updates & needs, week of Mar 11 - 15
Posted: 3/11/2024 4:47 pm
From Sharon Brockmann, Brookline Thrives Manager:
Hello Everyone,
To those who celebrate Ramadan we wish you well.
This week we will have a particularly large amount of inventory arriving on Tuesday and we will definitely need the help of two more volunteers to unload and restock the cabinets. One of those slots will be for lifting boxes from the van into our space, but the other involves NO LIFTING at all, you will be helping me as we put away the items. Please sign up if you’re free on Tuesday.
The Annual Volunteer Appreciation Party will be on Sunday, April 28th from 3-6pm at United Parish church. It will be a chance to meet many fellow volunteers, find out about other opportunities within Thrives and the Food Pantry, and of course enjoy food, drinks, games and raffles. For this year we will be getting new Food Pantry t-shirts and they may be designed by one of you! Read below for more details.
Thanks for everything, Sharon
