From Sharon Brockmann, Brookline Thrives Manager:
Hello Everyone,
Saturday, February 10th was the start of the Lunar Year of the Wood Dragon. The Year of the Dragon represents health, strength, and good fortune. Happy New Lunar Year to those celebrating.
We find ourselves this week with all our volunteer slots FULL. There are one or two substitute slots still vacant if you want to sign up for those. They're always important.
February School Vacation
Just a reminder that Thrives operates on the same calendar as the Public Schools of Brookline. There are no volunteer sessions next week (week of February 19 - 23) during school vacation. Thrives will start up again the week beginning February 26th. With that email will be the March - April Sign Up.
Thanks and have a great week, Sharon

Paper Handle Bags Drive
If you have bags from local markets that you can donate we'll put them to good use! Please drop off bag donations whenever you come to volunteer, or get in touch via email and we can arrange to meet up and collect them from you. Thank you!
