Brookline Thrives updates & needs, week of Jan 15 - Jan 19

Hello Everyone, I am writing to you from home after spending the whole weekend watching my son and the BHS Wrestling Team take on thirteen other schools over two days of competition. It was anything but calm; but I have to brag and share with you that my son won third place in the JV matches at 157 lbs! Proud mama moment for me and for a great group of Brookline kids, parents and coaches.

For this week we’re in a pretty good position for volunteers. Please see below where our needs are, and in particular we could really use a passenger volunteer for the school truck deliveries on Thursday. Thank you, Sharon

Volunteer Needs for This Week

Wed, Jan 17th - 6:45 - 8:00pm

Bag Packing - 1 packer needed

Wed, Jan 17th - 11:00am - 2:00pm

School Deliveries - Truck Passenger - If anyone is interested to help deliver Thrives bags to the schools this Thursday morning at 11am please reach out to me and I can let you what is all involved. Please either email me or call me direct at 617-991-7943.

Paper Handle Bags Drive

If you have bags from local markets that you can donate we'll put them to good use! Please drop off bag donations whenever you come to volunteer, or get in touch via email and we can arrange to meet up and collect them from you. Thank you!
