Brookline Thrives Happy Thanksgiving!

Brookline Thrives

From Sharon Brockmann, Brookline Thrives Manager:

Dear Everyone,

Happy Thanksgiving!

This week there will be NO THRIVES packing/delivering. Schools close at Noon on Wednesday, 22nd so there will not be enough time to pack and delivery bags. We will start up again the following week beginning, Nov 27th.

I am very excited to announce Brookline Thrives will be presented with the Herb Carlin Community Health Award by the Friends of Brookline Public Health at their annual meeting on Wed, Nov 29th at 6pm at Brookline High School. This Herb Carlin Community Health Award has been given since 2000 to organizations that have made an outstanding contribution to the public health of Brookline; and it is truly an honor for Thrives to be recognized in this way. Please join me on the 29th to accept this reward on behalf of YOU, the volunteers who have worked tirelessly for the last 6 years.

Thank you, Sharon
