Brookline Thrives updates & needs, week of Oct 30 - Nov 3

Dear Everyone,

We have many open spots this week that need filling so please sign up if you can. The schools are closed on Friday for Professional Development so all the volunteer positions have been moved up a day. Packing shifts are on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for this week. School deliveries are Wednesday/Thursday.

There is an extra packing shift on Monday, Oct 30th at 6PM. I know it's short notice, but If you can make this work please come pack with us on Monday.

Volunteer Needs for This Week

Mon, Oct 30th

6-7:15pm - Packing Shift 4 bag packers needed

Tues, Oct 31st

5-6:15pm - 2 bag packers needed

Wed, Nov 1st

9-10:15am - 2 bag packers needed

Wed, Nov 1st

3-3:30pm - Bag Distribution at HEATH School 1 position needed. Be a Thrives ambassador and deliver bags to classrooms. Thrives bags will already be at the school, ready and waiting. If it’s your first time you will be work alongside an experienced volunteer so you'll be in good hands.

Bloomin' 4 Good Program

Brookline Thrives is once again Stop & Shop's choice beneficiary of the November Bloomin' for Good campaign. At the Brookline Stop & Shop only (on Harvard Street), purchase any Bloomin' for Good floral bouquet and $1 will be donated to Brookline Thrives. Look for the red Bloomin' for Good sticker. The more flowers you buy, the more $$ goes to Thrives.
