Brookline Thrives updates & needs, week of Sept 18 - 22

From Sharon Brockmann, Brookline Thrives Manager:
Happy New Year to our Thrives friends who celebrated over the weekend. Shana Tova, may it be a happy, healthy, peaceful year for all of us.
Thank you to everyone who took time out last week to volunteer with Thrives. It feels good right? YOU helped get Thrives bags into the hands of almost 300 Brookline children in Brookline K-8 schools, at BEEP, and at two community pickup locations. In addition, we partnered with the Brookline Recreation Equity Initiative to put flyers into each bag alerting families to their fall sports, swimming and activity programs.
This week we are partnering with one of the oldest puppeteering companies in the US, Puppet Showcase, to share information about accessible cost show tickets. I’m sharing this with you to show Thrives is very much on the radar of more and more local organizations thanks to your help each and every week.
