Brookline Robotics Celebration

Do you have kids that might be interested in a fun and engaging robotics competition?

If you are a parent and/or caregiver of a child that might be interested in legos and/or robotics, bring the family and come join us for the:

Brookline Robotics Celebration
Monday, April 4th at 6 pm
22 Tappan Street Brookline
BHS’ new Freshman building

At this event, you will get to:

  1. See Brookline FLL (First Lego League) teams in action with their innovative robots and projects from this past season.
  2. Drive the Brookline High School robotics team (the BBots) robot and complete some of the missions that were at this season's FTC (First Tech Challenge) competition!
  3. Build & program a robot
  4. Learn how to start an FLL or FLL jr. team. This includes the basics of coaching an elementary school robotics team, as well as more information on FIRST Robotics in general!
  5. Learn about our week-long robotics summer camp, organized by the BBots in collaboration with Brookline Adult Education.

Check out this short video if you want some initial information about FIRST Robotics:

It's off-season, so now is a great time to either learn more about FLL and/or start a team. The great thing about FLL and FLL junior is that it doesn't require any experience for interested kids and coaches to start a team!

We hope to see you there! If you have questions, feel free to contact me.
