Back-to-School Social 2023 a Success

It was awesome to see so many families come out for our annual Back-to-School Social at Heath last Friday night. We were fortunate that the threat of severe thunderstorms just passed by us so that we could enjoy our time together. It was still hot and humid, but overall a great evening to hang out together for a bit.
Back-to-School Luncheon for Heath Teachers and Staff 2023

There was great energy at the school this past Thursday for the Back-to-School Luncheon for Heath Teachers and Staff 2023. A special recognition to the following for their help: Bharati Kochar, Sylvia Eash, Lisa Kang, Aruña Chong Quiroga, Eli Silk and all the families who donated funds and food. It was truly a team effort and teachers and staff were very grateful.

The PTO is so grateful to all that have helped out this year. For those who helped as room parents, International Night nation guides, Science Fair judges, event organizers, and PTO leaders we have recognized your efforts by working with Ms. Anderson, the Heath librarian, to dedicate books donated by the PTO to the library in your names.
Used Book Fair Recap

The used book fair was great. Thank you to everyone that donated and purchased books. It was nice for people to pass along the books they've read so that others may enjoy them. It was also fun to see adults and kids alike have an excuse to hang out for a bit at pickup time and enjoy the nice weather. Thank you especially to Karli Coles, Melissa Muken, and Alex Thayer for organizing the used book fair for the second year in a row.
5th Grade Popsicle Party to Celebrate their 2023 Heath Hawk Fund Participation

Congratulations to the 5th grade families for coming out on top of the Heath Hawk Fund participation challenge this year. Over 44% of the 5th grade families donated to our PTO's annual appeal, and we are so grateful. To celebrate your generosity, the 5th grade students got to enjoy some popsicles last Friday.
