Outdoor Movie Night and the Giving Tree

Family Movie Night on Saturday 6/8/2024 was awesome. The rain held off so everyone could enjoy a great evening in Little Field Park watching Disney/Pixar's Elemental.

Thank you to the Hayes School teachers and staff for all they do everyday for our community. As the school year comes to a close, the Hayes parent community honored our teachers and staff with a luncheon on Tuesday, June 4th. Parents cooked, baked, made donations, and volunteered their time to put together a delicious spread for the Hayes teachers to enjoy. Thank you to all the families that contributed and to Anabelle Skalleberg, Robin Gilula, and Katie Sawatzky (Parents in 2nd, 5th and 6th grades) for organizing.

We are Hayes parents who have questions about smartphones' impact on our children's well-being. We would like to gauge interest among Hayes parents in discussing, learning about, and taking action around this topic.

The PTO is so grateful to all that have helped out this year — including room parents, International Night nation guides, Science Fair judges, event organizers, and PTO leaders. To acknowledge your efforts, the PTO has worked with Ms. Anderson, the Hayes School librarian, to dedicate books in your name.

Another year of the Used Book Fair was amazing. Thank you to everyone that donated and purchased books, and to Lisa Yuen who scoured Facebook and drove around town to pick up piles to add to our collection. And a special thank you to Alex Thayer and Nathalie Roberts for organizing the event. We raised over $1,000 for the PTO.
