Join Brookline Safe Routes to School in celebrating Safe Routes to School's iWalk 2021 International Walk, Bike, Bus & Roll to School Day on Wednesday, October 6th. Start the day by walking, biking, busing, or rolling to school to be active, connect with your community, ease congestion, and raise awareness about the impact that fuel emissions have on the environment. Even getting dropped off a block or two away from school and walking the rest of the way makes a big difference! Showcase your iWalk day by posting photos and videos on social media using #MASRTS, #iwalked2021, & #irolled2021. The Brookline Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is an independent, parent organization that advises the school district and School Committee on matters related to special education.

Our first business meeting of the year will be held on September 24 from 8:30 - 10:00 am via Zoom. This meeting will feature a presentation on social emotional learning and mental health supports by Dr. Matt Dubois, Assistant Director of Guidance.

SEPAC has revised our bylaws. (found here; https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QmYQ0vY9WAqSM-a0TgZxrf3RiazfELjdZAbkSnwIC3s/view). A meeting to hear Public Comment will be held September 22 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm via Zoom.

The Heath PTO invites you to come and enjoy some ice cream and playground time as we celebrate the new school year. Soft serve ice cream and prepackaged popsicles will be provided by Boston's Frosty Ice Cream. All Heath families are welcome. Meet at the Heath Playground at the front of the school. This is a wonderful opportunity for new families to meet friends and existing families to reconnect.

The Heath PTO is pleased to announce that we are accepting grant proposals for the 2020-2021 Spring Grant Cycle. We invite members of the community to submit proposals that support the mission of the Heath PTO, which is to create the best learning environment possible for our children and teachers.
