Appreciation for the Heath Crossing Guards

As part of Safe Routes to School's Crossing Guard Appreciation efforts, Heath parents expressed their appreciation for Mary Frances O'Connor and Kathy Crowley for keeping our kids safe as they travel to and from school each day. Mary is at the corner of Route 9 and Reservoir Rd, and Kathy is at the corner of Ackers and Eliot.

Skate Night was Awesome

Heath Family Skate Night was a huge success. Over 160 skaters laced up this past Wednesday evening for a full two hours of time on the ice. The Warrior Ice Arena was a beautiful venue, and it was great to see so many Heath families out having a good time together. Thank you to all for coming out and for being flexible with the rescheduling challenges.

Safe Routes to School Travel Survey

The Public Schools of Brookline (PSB), Brookline Safe Routes to School (SRTS) and its statewide counterpart MA SRTS have teamed up to increase safe biking and walking in our community. A first step is to get all Brookline families to take a short 2-minute survey sharing how their kids get to and from school each morning.

In order to get valid results, we need at least 50% of Heath families to complete it and the deadline to submit is March 18, 2022, so please do it today.

Amazing Turnout for Heath Science Fair 2022

More than 50 projects were presented this past Saturday at the Heath School Science Fair, with teams representing all grades from Kindergarten through 8th. The gym was buzzing with testable ideas and thoughtful explanations about topics ranging from the mixing of glow stick liquids to the relative size of owls' wingspans compared to their brains.
