SRTS Pedestrian Safety with our 2nd Graders

Thank you 🙏, Vivian Ortiz, for teaching our Heath School 2nd graders about pedestrian safety last week. Vivian is the Boston area Senior Outreach Coordinator and Bike Education Lead for MA Safe Routes to School, and also informally known as Boston's Bike Mayor. The students learned about sidewalks, crosswalks, the rumble strips on the sidewalks near intersections, and paying attention while we walk around our community.

Ultimate Hawk Challenge a Huge Success

Last Friday's Ultimate Hawk Challenge was a huge success! Teachers, students, and parents had lots of fun, which is what the day was all about. This event has really shown what an awesome community Heath is. Thanks to everyone's support we exceeded our goal and raised over $27k! And thanks to Viking Sports for making it possible!
