Teacher Appreciation: Sweet Treats!
12/19/2022 1:14 pm
Thank you to the Heath teachers and staff for all they do everyday for our community. Heath families baked a sweet array of festive dessert options and made notes and drawings of appreciation too, all to celebrate the Heath teachers and staff this holiday season. Cookies, brownies, bars, cupcakes, and more were enjoyed. Thank you to all the families that contributed and to Robin Gilula and Katie Sawatzky (Parents in 4O, 5P and 7th) for organizing.
SRTS Pedestrian Safety with our 2nd Graders

Thank you 🙏, Vivian Ortiz, for teaching our Heath School 2nd graders about pedestrian safety last week. Vivian is the Boston area Senior Outreach Coordinator and Bike Education Lead for MA Safe Routes to School, and also informally known as Boston's Bike Mayor. The students learned about sidewalks, crosswalks, the rumble strips on the sidewalks near intersections, and paying attention while we walk around our community.
