We’re very excited to launch our program this year and welcome 6th-12th graders all five weekdays from 2:30-7:00 PM! This year we’ll have a more structured schedule, with daily homework support and enrichment activities.

Will you consider supporting BHS's newspaper by purchasing a $30/year subscription to receive a print issue at your doorstep each month this school year? As an independent non-profit organization, we rely on subscriptions from Brookline community members to keep our 132-year-old paper running.

Hello Hayes community! My name is Casey Hassenstein, and I am a proud mother of a current 6th grader at Baker School and a 9th grader at Brookline High School. I am excited to launch my new life coaching business, www.cfourcoaching.com, focused on supporting student-athletes and girls facing obstacles or times of transition. I provide guidance and tools to help them take actionable steps to accomplish their goals and remind them that they have the power within them! With summer coming, it's time to make a plan to support your rising 9th grader's preparation for high school. As a former teacher and professor, I'm passionate about my work as a writing coach; I love helping students develop skills that will make a difference for the rest of their lives. As a published fiction writer and an award-winning writer/editor for Harvard University, MIT, and Scholastic, my success with students stems from my extensive knowledge of the craft of writing. Working one-on-one, each of my students receives individualized instruction that leads to deeper critical thinking, clearer writing, and more effective planning and organizational skills. With nurturing attention, my students learn to produce thoughtful and timely assignments, even as they're juggling complex schedules and multiple deadlines.
