BEF Annual Trivia Bee Fundraiser is back!

Get your tickets now to the Brookline Education Foundation Trivia Bee on Friday March 25 from 7-9pm.
There will be fantastic prizes, amazing auction items, and, of course, trivia! The event will be remote this year, so teams can gather together if they like or participate safely from home. (Also there's no need to join a team - individuals will be assigned to one). We hope you can join us for this night of fun celebrating the BEF's 41st year supporting our teachers' professional development! Tickets are only $41 this year!
Summer at the Barn 2022

Open to rising 2nd – 8th graders. Summer At The Barn is the complete theatrical summer experience for every young actor. Participants explore acting technique, character creation, music, dance, improvisation, playwriting, stage combat, and more while rehearsing a showcase performance to share with family and friends at the culmination of each session. Plenty of outdoor and free-choice time guarantees a summer of learning and growing on stage and off.
After School Program with the Brookline Police Department

The Brookline Police Department is excited to offer an after school program for middle school students of Brookline. March 30, April 6 and April 13 3:30PM—5:00PM. This three–session program is designed for middle school age students to meet our Youth Resource Officers and discuss topics including Healthy Dating Relationships, Online Safety, Personal Safety and more!! We will also introduce students to various officers and programs in the BPD.
Brookline Library Event - Show or Tell? Languages of Love in Asian American Families

The Brookline Library has invited Professor Stephen Chen to give an online talk called Show or Tell? Languages of Love in Asian American Families. The program is set for Thursday, March 31 at 2:30 PM. A full description, Dr. Chen's bio, and a Zoom registration link are in the event listing on the library website.
BHS AcapellaFest 2022

Here is your chance to catch all of Brookline High School’s a cappella groups in one night. The concert features the BHS A cappella Choir directed by Michael Driscoll as well as student-led groups Perfect Pitch, Note-a-fy, and Glee Club. BHS’s hilarious improv comedy troupe, Needs Improvment, adds humor to this family-friendly event. These popular concerts tend to sell out, so buy your tickets in advance! Shows are at 6:00pm, and 7:30pm. Tickets are $5. Online sales will close four hours before each showtime.

Farm to Breakfast Virtual Cooking Demonstration

In this workshop, led by Project Bread’s Chef Educators and the Public Schools of Brookline's Food Service Director, participants will learn how to create easy, cost-effective breakfast recipes that feature local ingredients and can be served in a variety of meal service settings, including cafeteria service, grab and go, and breakfast in the classroom. These creative, kid-friendly recipes are flexible enough to change with produce that is seasonally available and have been tested and approved by K-12 students across Massachusetts.
